Sometimes restoration is not possible: the chip is discontinued and no spare can be sourced, no donor board is available, the board is severely damaged by fire or liquid, or earlier repair attempts have left it beyond recovery. In such cases we explain the situation plainly and, where possible, suggest an alternative.
When a welding machine fails, the first thought is usually to buy a new one. In modern inverter machines, however, the fault is almost always electronic — not the transformer or the housing, but the power module, the gate driver or the control board. That is repairable at component level.
The most common failure is the IGBT power module. When a module blows it usually damages the driver circuit that controls it. Replacing only the module is not enough — if the driver is not checked, the new module fails again within a short time. That is why repair always involves measuring the whole circuit.
The second large group is power and control faults: the machine will not start, shows an error code, current cannot be adjusted, or it shuts down mid-work. A good share of these are dried-out capacitors, cold solder joints or faulty sensors — inexpensive to fix.
Semi-automatic (MIG/MAG), argon (TIG) and plasma machines add further layers: wire feeder motor control, gas valve actuation, pilot arc circuitry on plasma units. These are separate modules and are tested separately.
Machines without schematics or of unknown brand are accepted as well — in those cases the circuit is traced by hand. After diagnostics we tell you exactly what failed and whether repair makes sense.

After the repair the device runs a minimum 24-hour load test. Once it proves stable in normal operation, we report the result and hand it over.
Diagnostics is paid work — 10–50 AZN depending on the complexity of the board. If you have us carry out the repair, that amount is deducted from the final price. An exact repair price is given only after diagnostics and is agreed with you before any work starts.
