Test and Measurement Equipment Repair in Baku

Test instrument repair in Baku — circuit board repair for oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators and laboratory power supplies: lost accuracy, burnt input protection, drifting ADC channel.

Send the make and model and describe the fault briefly. A video helps most — film the fault. Clear photos of the board help too.

Electronics repair for test and laboratory instruments: oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators, multimeters, laboratory power supplies, radiation monitoring and telemetry devices. Component-level circuit board repair and restoration of the measurement path.

Not every device can be repaired

Sometimes restoration is not possible: the chip is discontinued and no spare can be sourced, no donor board is available, the board is severely damaged by fire or liquid, or earlier repair attempts have left it beyond recovery. In such cases we explain the situation plainly and, where possible, suggest an alternative.

A fault in a measuring instrument is not always obvious: the oscilloscope starts but the scale has drifted; the multimeter shows a number, but the wrong one. So diagnostics here means checking the measurement path in sequence, from the input protection through to the ADC.

We work with Rigol, Tektronix, Fluke, Keysight and UNI-T instruments — the work is circuit board repair, not module replacement. Typical cases: overvoltage on the input has burnt the protection, the encoder knob does not respond, the display goes dark, the ADC/DAC channel has drifted. The sensor boards of radiation monitoring and telemetry devices also fall under this area.

What matters most in this group is that the instrument is accurate again afterwards. If the measurement path has been touched, we compare the result against a reference instrument. On some models the calibration constants live in internal memory — if that memory is lost, whether recovery is possible depends on the model, and we say so upfront.

Insulation and earth resistance testers
Radiation monitoring instruments and dosimeters
Spectrometer and analytical instrument electronics
Telemetry and data logger units
Temperature and pressure calibrators
Probe, input protection and attenuator assemblies
Instrument displays and control panels

Common faults we repair

  • Accuracy is lost, the reading has drifted
  • Overvoltage on the input burnt the protection
  • A channel sees no signal
  • There is drift in the ADC / DAC channel
  • The display is dark or banded
  • The encoder knob does not respond, the menu jumps
  • The instrument will not start, the internal supply is burnt
  • The calibration data is lost
  • The probe input makes no contact
  • The fan has stopped and the unit overheats
  • The radiation detector does not count
  • The telemetry unit receives no sensor data

Typical causes of failure

  • A burnt protection circuit after overvoltage on the input
  • Drift in the ADC/DAC channel causing measurement error
  • Wear in the encoder knob and control panel
  • Loss of voltage in the internal power supply
  • A failed display backlight
  • Loss of the memory holding calibration data
  • A worn connector at the probe input
  • Leakage paths after long storage in a dusty environment

How the repair works

  1. 01

    Enquiry and first contact

Tell us about the fault on WhatsApp or Telegram. We review what you send and let you know whether the device fits the work we take on.

  2. 02

    Acceptance and diagnostics

If we can take the device on, we confirm it in advance — do not ship it before you have our confirmation. Once it reaches the lab, diagnostics are completed within 48 hours (two working days).

  3. 03

    Estimate and approval

You receive a report covering the cause of the fault, the estimated cost, spare-part availability and the timeline. Work begins only after you approve it.

  4. 04

    Testing and handover

After the repair the device runs a minimum 24-hour load test. Once it proves stable in normal operation, we report the result and hand it over.

Diagnostics and pricing

Diagnostics is paid work — 10–50 AZN depending on the complexity of the board. If you have us carry out the repair, that amount is deducted from the final price. An exact repair price is given only after diagnostics and is agreed with you before any work starts.

Frequently asked questions

Request a repair

Message us on WhatsApp or Telegram with the BRAND and MODEL of the device and describe the fault in as much detail as you can. A VIDEO helps most: record the fault and explain in your own words what happens. Also send clear photos of the device and, if accessible, of the circuit board from several angles. The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurate our answer.
