How long does a PCB design take?

A simple 2-layer board is usually about 2 weeks; a 4-layer sensor board 2–5 weeks. It depends on layer count, component density and how precisely the requirements are defined. We give a concrete range after the first conversation.

Do you work in KiCad or Altium?

Both. The choice follows the tool used on your side: if your own engineer will continue the project later, we deliver in the format they work in.

Do I get the source files?

Yes. Schematic, layout, Gerbers and BOM are all yours. That keeps the option open to move to another team for later revisions.

Do you manufacture the boards yourselves?

Manufacturing happens at a fab; we handle the design and the preparation for production. We can also take on dealing with the factory and making the files match their rules.

Can an existing board be redrawn?

Yes, this comes up often: a part goes end-of-life, the outline has to change, or the old design has a persistent fault. If a schematic exists we start there; if not, we analyse the board and reconstruct it first.

Do you accept small prototypes or research projects?

Yes. We accept small proof-of-concept or research projects. Send your project description — I'll provide price and timeline estimate.

Which EDA tool do you use for PCB design?

Primarily KiCad (open-source, commercially usable) and Altium Designer. If the client has a specific requirement, other tools (Eagle, DipTrace) are also possible.

Is firmware limited to STM32 and ESP32 only?

No. STM32 and ESP32 are what we work with most, but Arduino (AVR), Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040), Nordic nRF, Microchip PIC, Atmel are also possible. We recommend optimal MCU based on project requirements.

Do you sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements)?

Yes. Frequently required in engineering projects. We work with either a standard NDA template or your company's template.

Schematic and PCB layout — KiCad and Altium. Signal integrity, EMC, DFM principles.

PCB design does not end with drawing the schematic — whether a board works in the real world depends on the layout. Power plane splits, grounding, length matching on high-speed lines and component placement cannot be fixed afterwards; they are either right from the start, or the board misbehaves once it comes back from the fab.

We work in KiCad and Altium. Parts are chosen against real availability while the schematic is drawn — a component that is perfect on paper but unobtainable stops the project. During layout we review signal integrity, EMC readiness and DFM, because a single rule violation can send a whole batch back from the factory.

As often as a design from scratch, we are asked to redraw an existing board: a component has gone end-of-life, the outline has to change, or the old design has a persistent fault. In those cases we start from the existing schematic and build a new revision on top of it.
